Since my childhood days, I had a strong passion and interest towards the nursing career. The zeal to pursue my dreams is one the reasons why I chose the nursing career. It is logical for anyone to follow their dreams until the attainment stage. Another reason why I chose to be a nurse is the job security attached to this profession. In the modern world, people are losing their jobs on a frequent basis. In order to avoid been victim of such a situation, I decided to go for a career that gives me diversity when it comes to employment opportunities. In the modern world, there is a high demand for nurses. This means as a nurse; I have broad career choices to make when looking for a job opportunity. This is a trait that made me choose the nursing profession. Nursing is a career that entails dealing with sick people. Patients need quality healthcare in order to overcome their ailments. Giving quality care to patients is a task that can only be completed by a trained nurse. From a critical point of view, nursing is a profession that gives one the opportunity to influence people’s lives positively. I am a person who likes serving other people unconditionally. Logically, nursing was the only profession that could give me an opportunity to serve other people willingly.  I chose nursing as my career because it is the only profession that allows me to influence people’s lives positively. Nursing is a profession that does not rely on advancing once academic standards in order to be an expert. Nursing is a profession that gives one the opportunity to learn and improve while working. Logically, nursing can be defined as a continuous process of extensive learning. The ability to learn and expound my skills is a key reason as to why I chose the nursing profession.

St, Luke’s college is a well known and respected institution in nursing studies. Joining St. Luke’s college will automatically give me top notch training. This form of training will make a high graduate in nursing studies. This will later on play to my advantage when establishing my nursing career. The high standard of education offered at St. Luke’s is the main reason I applied for a vacancy in the institution.

Personally, I have set high targets in relation to my education goals. It is my will to obtain high capacity training in the nursing profession. Through acute educational training, I will eventually emerge as a cutting edge professional. Still on education matters, I am ready and committed to strive hard in my academic work.  Applying persistence, commitment and handwork in my academic work will ensure I score high grades.  Performing well academically will enhance my quest to be a cutting edge nurse. In my work duties, I am ready to be an open minded learner. This will ensure I attain important professional skills in the nursing field. By being committed and dedicated to my work, I will be in a better position to enhance my professional productivity. In work-related matters, I am ready to become an outstanding and hardworking professional.

My acceptance would play an important role in enhancing diversity among the student population of St. Luke’s college. I am a social person, and this means I will interact with other learners freely. Through interaction, I and my fellow students will be in a better position to learn from each other. The learning process would touch on cultural matters, games and other social matters.  My presence will help in creating a diversified student population at St. Luke’s College.
